Terms and Conditions

By completing registration and submitting payment, you (the "Participant" or "Parent/Guardian") agree to the following Terms and Conditions with Street Family Tennis:
1. Liability Release & Assumption of Risk
I acknowledge and assume all risks incidental to my or my child's participation in Street Family Tennis programs, including but not limited to physical injury, environmental conditions, and equipment use.
Hold Harmless: I specifically waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and hold blameless:
Street Family Tennis (Michael and Amanda Street);
Mind + Motion Collective (Amanda Donovan); and
Their respective employees, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and facility owners; from any claims arising from injury, illness, negligence, or damages sustained during participation in any lesson, program, or event.
2. Medical Authorization
In the event of an injury or medical emergency where I cannot be reached, I authorize Street Family Tennis staff to obtain necessary medical treatment for my child, including transport to a medical facility if required. I agree to be responsible for any costs associated with such treatment.
3. Cancellations & Refund Policy
Please review the specific policies below. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
A. Group Classes & Session
Session Cancellations: If Street Family Tennis cancels a full session due to low participation prior to the start date, you will receive a full refund.
Missed Classes: There are no refunds or credits for classes missed by the participant due to scheduling conflicts, vacations, or early departures.
Transferability: Registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant with prior written notice.
Injury/Illness: Refunds or account credits for prolonged injury or illness will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us immediately if this arises.
B. Private & Small Group Lessons
24-Hour Notice: Private lessons have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson start time will be charged in full.
Early Cancellation: Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be issued as Account Credit for future use.
4. Weather Policy
Street Family Tennis is an outdoor-based service; therefore, weather is a factor.
Notification: We will notify participants via text message regarding cancellations due to inclement weather. Please do not assume a class is canceled unless you hear from us.
Group Class Makeups: If a group class is canceled due to weather, we will attempt to utilize designated makeup days (alternate days of the week). If no alternate class is available during your session, a specific makeup time will be scheduled.
No Refunds for Weather: If a makeup session is offered but you are unable to attend, no refunds or additional credits will be issued.
5. Photography & Media Release
I grant permission for Street Family Tennis to capture and use photos or videos of myself or my child for promotional, instructional, and marketing purposes (e.g., website, social media).
Opt-Out: If you do not wish to be photographed, you must notify Street Family Tennis in writing at [Contact@StreetFamilyTennis.com] prior to the start of the session.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants and spectators are expected to follow all safety guidelines and display good sportsmanship. Street Family Tennis reserves the right to dismiss any participant or spectator due to unsafe behavior or misconduct, with no refund provided.
7. Payment Agreement
Payment must be made in full before participation. By clicking "Submit" or completing payment, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the Terms and Conditions above.

Parent/Guardian Info: Name, phone number, email address, emergency contact.
Participant Info: Child’s name, age, and relevant medical alerts (e.g., allergies).
Payment Data: Credit card details are processed securely via third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store your full credit card number.
Media: Photos/videos taken during lessons (as outlined in our Terms).
2. How We Use Your Information
Operations: To register participants, process payments, and organize class rosters.
Communication: To send text/email updates regarding weather cancellations, schedule changes, or billing.
Marketing: To send newsletters or updates about upcoming clinics (you may opt-out at any time).
3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Protecting the privacy of young children is our priority.
Parental Consent: We only collect personal information about children under the age of 13 directly from parents or legal guardians. We do not allow children under 13 to register themselves or submit data through our website.
Use of Data: Participant data is used solely for program registration and safety purposes and is never sold to third parties.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties. Data is only shared with trusted service providers necessary for business operations (such as payment processors) or to comply with legal requirements.
5. Opt-Out & Contact
You may request to view, edit, or delete your personal information, or opt out of marketing emails, at any time.
